BCAPI Annual Event – 2013 Business Luncheon
350 business and community leaders participated in BCAPI’s annual event, held at the Delta Brunswick on Thursday October 17th, 2013.
A golf tournament has raised more than $100,000 for the Business Community Anti-Poverty Initiative, a group that supports community programs that help children living in poverty. Fortis Properties sponsored and hosted the Sept. 27 event, teeing up with 150 businesses that raised a total of $102,500. That money will go toward programs and groups like the Early Learning Centre and PALS (Partners Assisting Local Schools).

Saint John, NB (May 29, 2012) – On May 25th, Fortis Properties teamed up with more than 125 local businesses to raise $102,000 for the Business Community Anti-Poverty Initiative (BCAPI). For 10 years, the Fortis Charity Golf Classic has been helping local children and youth who live in poverty to succeed in school by contributing funds raised to innovative initiatives, including: the Early Learning Centre, PALS (Partners Assisting Local Schools), the Teen Resource Centre, First Steps and Vibrant Communities Saint John.
